Soldering is a process in which metal parts are joined with an additional material (solder) whose melting temperature is lower than the melting temperature of the metals to be joined. A solid metallurgical bond is created by the connection between the filler metal and the metals to be joined. A distinction is made between brazing, in which the melting temperature of the filler metal is below 450°C, and brazing, in which the melting temperature is above 45°C. Physical and chemical phenomena such as capillarity occur during brazing. Castolin+Eutectic's wide range of filler alloys and fluxes offers you a solution for all brazing applications.
